CIVIL 3D CAD TECHNICIAN or CIVIL DESIGNER
Applicants must be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Construction and surveying experience are a plus. Hourly pay is negotiable depending on capabilities and experience. Benefits include Kaiser health plan, dental and disability insurance, paid holidays, accrued compensated leave time and professional development support.
Technical duties will include:
- Site development plans for commercial, residential, and winery land development projects.
- Civil 3D ground surfaces, cross sections, profiles and pipe networks.
- Volumetric calculations using surfaces.
- Hydrology, hydraulics and low impact development design and calculations.
- Grading and drainage design.
- Public road encroachment plans.
- Stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) and reporting.
- Onsite Wastewater Treatment System plans.
- Plan and profile layouts for municipal water, sewer, storm sewer and paving plans.
- Plats and occasional field surveying for boundary, topographic and construction staking surveys.
